The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is made up of salons and spas, distributors and manufacturers dedicated to improving their individual businesses and the industry as a whole.

Companies that produce beauty products for sale to wholesalers, distributors and/or salons make up the manufacturer section of PBA. Sales representatives are also eligible for membership in this section.

Manufacturer members benefit from research conducted by PBA each year. In the Market Shipment Study, manufacturer members anonymously share their data with an independent public accounting firm that prepares a comprehensive market overview of the industry. Currently focused on hair related products, this survey will soon expand to include nail products and appliances. Participating members receive the study for free (a $500.00 value).
