The single most valuable benefit of membership may well be the incredible network of like-minded business people who understand where you're coming from. When a salon member faces the sudden loss of three key earners, he can appeal to other owners on the PBA listserve and find ten suggestions for overcoming the challenge. When a manufacturer member is faced with recalling a product, she is supported by other members who have been there and gotten through it. When a distributor wants to celebrate raising a record amount for a charity, another member connects her to the right journalist to get the word out.
While the business world is certainly competitive, an association provides a valuable collaborative experience.
Networking Groups
Local networking meetings provide an opportunity for beauty business professionals (salon/spa owners, distributors or manufacturers) to share ideas and provide on-going support for like-minded entrepreneurs. It is also a fabulous opportunity to recruit new members into our association! Learn more!

Events
Industry events are a great way to stay connected to other association members. PBA produces a number of influential industry events. We also host networking breakfasts and evening cocktail receptions at non-PBA industry events. View details on upcoming networking events.
New Member Teleconferences
New to the association? Have a question about your business? Want to network with successful industry leaders? This is your opportunity to meet your leadership council members and participate in powerful networking to improve your business and the industry as a whole.
Distributor/OTC Section: third Friday of June, September, December and March at 12:00 noon EST
Manufacturer/Rep Section: first Wednesday of June, September, December and March at 12:00 noon EST
Salon/Spa Section: third Monday of every month at 12:00 noon EST
All new members will receive an email invitation to participate.
