5 Years of Beautiful Success
Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) enjoyed its fifth and most successful year yet as the premier business-to-business beauty event encompassing all sectors of the industry in one venue. Held July 15-17, the show brought together 699 exhibiting companies and more than 25,000 attendees, including importers, distributors and global beauty leaders. Highlights included:
Discover Beauty. This ground-breaking initiative brought a select group of emerging brands together with buyers from top retail institutions, including Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, Sephora, Nordstrom, Fred Segal Studio and more.

NBC's Today Show. The nation's number-one morning show shot a segment on the exhibition floor spotlighting emerging trends in the global beauty industry.
Country Pavilions. Working closely with countries seeking to expand their foreign beauty trade, CPNA featured pavilions from Thailand, Brazil, Italy, France and China.
PBA Annual Business Forum. Over 420 attendees gathered for the association's annual update, which featured keynote speaker Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder and engineer of the first personal computer.
International Buyer Program. A Cosmoprof exclusive, this program united buyers from Chile, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela with exhibitors for one-on-one, pre-scheduled appointments.
First-Class Education. Filled-to-capacity sessions included the Package Design Conference, Women's Wear Daily's Specialty Beauty Retailer Panel, the PBA Beauty Boot Camp (see related story) and Beauty Store Business's How Your OTC Can Make More Money.
