Over 65 salon owners, all generating over $2.5 million in revenue, shared their best practices at Symposium 12 during the inaugural meeting of the Best Practice Club (BPC). Participants included Eveline Charles, Scott Buchanan, Sasha Rash, Paul Brown, Robert Cromeans and other well-known owners and their top managers. A huge success in its first year, the Best Practice Club will continue to be held in conjunction with Symposium.

The BPC is a forum for top salon/spa owners to share their business best practices with one another, as they take a leading role as mentors to others in the industry. According to Steve Sleeper, PBA Executive Director, "Symposium 12 was one of the best Symposiums to date and the first-ever Distribution Summit was a big success, but the PBA Best Practice Club for high-end owners absolutely blew the doors off the whole event. With owners like Sam Brocato, Van Council, Robert Cromeans, Eveline Charles, Paul Brown, Eric Fisher and James Morrison all in attendance and saying they loved the program, it's a huge statement."
This intimate think tank served as a business tool for the participants and now that the results have gone virtual in a series of Best Practice Club Web Workshops, it can benefit all PBA Salon/Spa Section members. PBA and INYU Training are pleased to introduce the Best Practice Club Web Workshops, where PBA salon owners, managers and key staff can come together for 90-minute web workshops focused on sharing the best practices – not just ideas – discussed in the first Best Practice Club.
During these workshops, industry leaders such as Robert Cromeans, Lina Heath and Scott Buchanan will discuss what they are doing in their businesses to create the biggest results. There are four Best Practice Club Web Workshops scheduled for the remainder of 2008, from now to November. The workshops can be purchased separately at $69 each or in a package at $200 – a savings of $75.
