
The first-ever Distribution & Sales Summit, a unique educational opportunity for sales professionals from beauty distributors and direct-selling manufacturers, was co-located with Symposium 12 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate and left attendees eager for more beauty sales education.
Shaped by PBA members with in-the-field experience, the Summit followed the same theme as the Symposium, "It's About Time," and equipped sales professionals with time-saving and sales-maximization strategies. Saturday's Summit-only breakouts were dedicated to sales consultant education, while the Summit and the Symposium held a joint general session Sunday morning allowing Summit attendees to learn about trends that can make a difference for their salon and spa customers.

In addition to extensive networking opportunities, the Summit featured two dynamic speakers committed to helping every attendee grow their sales potential. Dr. Rick Johnson, the founder of CEO Strategist and a veteran of the wholesale distribution industry with more than 30 years of executive management experience, started Saturday morning off at a break-neck speed. Dr. Jeffrey Magee, who started his first sales and marketing firm at age 15 and sold it to a Fortune 500 company before college, then delved into time management and left attendees with 50 ways to increase their productive selling. Recognizing the vast experience of the beauty sales professionals in the audience, the facilitators also drew out the best ideas from attendees.
