Advisory Council voting is Now Open!

Each year, PBA Beauty Professional/NCA Members have the opportunity to elect two (2) members to the Advisory Council.

Members were notified of the opportunity to be considered as a candidate of the Advisory Council via the PBA website, social media, and email communications. The Nominating Committee considered each applicant's experience and skillset and is confident the final candidates are highly qualified to be part of your Advisory Council.

Maureen has been a cosmetologist since 1992. She began working with plastic surgeons and dermatologists shortly after thereafter, doing pre and post operation skincare, and cosmetic make-up. In 2000, she wanted to go back into a salon setting but at that time no salon in the area offered skincare so she opened her own. Within months she had four salons across the state. She's focused on all areas of cosmetology but encourages others to specialize their skills. Maureen has been involved in cosmetology associations in her state and the surrounding states. She's also a member of the State Board of Cosmetology since 2018. She is passionate about legislation and wants things to be fair and clearly outlined for all in the industry. She wants to see others succeed. Maureen currently has two salon, one servicing the elderly which includes footcare, a much-needed service that others don't want to do.
