Our History
PBA’s beauty roots run deep! The association has endured a 100+ year evolution. From its beginnings as the men’s-only Beauty and Barber Supply Institute in 1904, to the esthetician-focused National Cosmetology Institute, to today’s leading producer of the most widely recognized events in beauty, PBA’s journey has helped to transform the beauty industry.
