- All scholarships are funded by Elite Beauty Society and administered by the Professional Beauty Association Foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final. Scholarship funds awarded must be used within one year of being awarded.

ABOUT ELITE BEAUTY SOCIETY:
Elite Beauty Society was designed by beauty professionals, for beauty professionals. EBS is dedicated to providing the most affordable and comprehensive professional and general liability coverage for cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians, barbers, makeup artists, and all professionals in this industry. Application deadline is March 31, 2023
Scholarships will be awarded to current PBA Preferred and Student Members to use towards continuing education or cosmetology school. A total of five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in 2022.

ABOUT THE LIFETIME MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP:
PBA honors Lifetime Members is through educational scholarships. These scholarships celebrate the spirit of commitment to the association, which has been demonstrated by the Lifetime Member through fostering the advancement and education of individual members.
The PBA Lifetime Member Scholarship is made available because of the Joseph L. Weir Trust. The Trust was established in 1984 by the estate of Joseph Weir for charitable and education purposes. Joseph's record of industry involvement was remarkable.
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 15, 2022
Ten (10) - $500 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled in school (5) and active licensed professionals (5).
- Application deadline is November 15, 2022
- Ten (10) scholarship recipients will be chosen and notified by email
- Scholarship funds awarded must be used within six months of being awarded
- Applicants must be Milady RISE Certified in Client Well-Being & Safety (students at Milady RISE Partner schools get free access)
- Must be currently enrolled in school (and in good standing) or a licensed professional currently working as a beauty/wellness professional
- Must be a Cosmetology, Nail Tech, Barbering, Esthetics, and Massage student or licensed professional
- All scholarships are funded by Milady and administered by the Professional Beauty Association Foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final.

Three (3) $500 scholarships will be awarded to licensed cosmetologists for industry-related continuing education.

PBA Kendall Ong Scholarship Full Terms and Conditions
ABOUT KENDALL:
Kendall Ong was a humble, yet influential leader in the industry and with PBA. As a successful salon owner for over 22 years and a respected artist, Kendall was part of PBA’s Salon/Spa Leadership Council until 2014 as well as a prominent member of the NAHA Committee. He was a master of the craft and we are saddened to lose such an important leader in our community. To celebrate the life of Kendall, a scholarship has been created to help support licensed cosmetologists through continuing education. PBA gratefully acknowledges the family and friends of Kendall for helping to make the Kendall Ong Memorial Scholarship possible through their generous support.

Four (4) - $250 scholarships will be awarded to PBA Business of 1 membership for industry related continuing education. Applicant must be a licensed barber, cosmetologist, and/or esthetician.

Two (2) - $250 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled in a cosmetology, barber or esthetics program in the US or Canada resulting in a cosmetology, barber or esthetics license. To show their dedication to diversity, inclusivity, and bettering the lives of others, Rosy Salon Software is awarding at least half of all scholarships to minority students.

- Scholarship funds awarded must be used within one year of being awarded
