PBA NAHA Awards Creativity Unleashed

Exciting changes to NAHA 2021

This year’s North American Hairstyling Awards is all about getting back to basics with sharp techniques and unique skills. It’s about taking the competition to the next level and unleashing your creativity. We’ve already kicked off NAHA season with a bang, with our NAHA Creative Conversation series, where you can learn tips and tricks from winners and industry experts on how to put together a winning collection with any kind of budget. Behind the scenes, the NAHA team has been working hard to ensure that this year’s competition reflects some of the changes happening in the world right now, from new categories, to new rules- we’ve laid it all out here for you!

WHAT’S NEW!

The Inspiring Salon of the Year category celebrates salon culture, both with stylists and within the community, and doesn’t require any collection to enter

The Educator of the Year category is meant to celebrate educator’s that enrich student’s lives by guiding them down paths of success and encouraging innovation behind the chair, this category also doesn’t require a collection to enter

NAHA entry collections CAN be published prior to entry, and CAN be submitted to other regional, national or international competitions, providing additional flexibility

Our newly curated Resource Library can help you find a photographer, stylist, and models and the updated FAQ’s page will answer any questions you have on rules or judging criteria

Our weekly Creative Conversations are hosted by NAHA Committee Chairman and Living Proof Global Creative Director, Michael Shaun Corby and gives you a look behind the scenes with industry icons, winners and experts in creating a collection

And finally, we know this year is different, so we’ve extended the entry deadline! Entries will now be accepted through October 2, 2020
