Vivienne Mackinder Hair Designer Program
Application deadline is February 2, 2026
four (4) – PBA licensed professional Member recipients will be awarded Silver Access in “Hair Designer Program”.Students – Qualified Education
Programs are eligible if they are in one of the following fields:
- Cosmetology
- Nail technology
- Barbering
- Esthetics
- Massage therapy
- Result in a professional license (where applicable)
- Qualify as education under the MY SALON Suite Scholarship
Professionals – Qualified Education
Programs are eligible if they are:
- Advanced academy education classes
- Manufacturer education programs
- Business education courses
- Other established professional beauty industry education programs
- And qualify as education under the MY SALON Suite Scholarship
This program is a weekly class beginning on March 2, 2026. The class value is $5,500 and $3,300 respectively and is provided by Vivienne Mackinder and the program will be administered by PBA Charities.

Vivienne Mackinder Bridal Bootcamp
Application deadline is February 23, 2026
four (4) – PBA licensed professional Member recipients will be awarded Silver Access in “Bridal Bootcamp” class taking place March 29-30, 2026.
The scholarship recipient must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a PBA Member in good standing at the time of:
- Scholarship application
- Scholarship award
- Be a licensed cosmetologist
- Be a Beauty Professional Member of PBA
The class value is $495 and $225 respectively and is provided by Vivienne Mackinder and the program will be administered by PBA Charities.

JOSEPH L. WEIR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline is March 31, 2026
Six (6) scholarships valued at $500 will be awarded.
Scholarships will be awarded to current PBA Licensed Professional and Student Members to use towards continuing education or cosmetology school.
Six (6) scholarship recipients will be chosen and notified by email. All scholarships are funded by The Joseph L Weir Trust and administered by the PBA Charities. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final. Scholarship funds awarded must be used in 2025.
PBA honors the legacy of Joseph L. Weir through educational scholarships. These scholarships celebrate the spirit of commitment to the association, which has been demonstrated by Joseph L. Weir through fostering the advancement and education of individual members.
The PBA Joseph L. Weir Scholarship is made available because of the Joseph L. Weir Trust.

AURA SALONWARE SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline is April 15, 2026.
Aura Salonware is proud to present this scholarship. There will be $2,000 in scholarships awarded.
• One (1) – $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one (1) salon owner in business for 15 years or less with at least 3 W-2 service providers in a salon. Additionally, you must complete an Aura Salonware demo using THIS LINK by the scholarship deadline. You will be required to submit a screenshot of your demo confirmation as part of the application below.
• One (1) – $500 scholarship for licensed cosmetologists, barbers, nail techs, or estheticians to use towards continuing education.
• One (1) – $500 scholarship for students currently enrolled in a cosmetology, barber, nail tech, or esthetics program that will result in professional licensure.

2026 Schwarzkopf Professional Shaping Futures
2026 Schwarzkopf Professional Shaping Futures
Application deadline is April 30, 2026
Five (5) $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to cosmetology students currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology or hairstyling program.
Shaping Futures’ mission is to empower. Born from a project in 2008, Shaping Futures has evolved into a global initiative within over 33 countries, helping teach new skill sets for participants, to be able learn a craft and support themselves. We are excited to be able to offer Shaping Futures to our future hairstylists in USA; scholarships to assist with schooling, along with support and mentorship, including continued educational seminars and trainings. Creative, compassionate, exciting, and empowered, that is the Schwarzkopf Professional way.
To be eligible, applicants must:
· Be 18 or older and a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
· Enrolled in an accredited cosmetology or hairstyling program leading to licensure
· Henkel employees and their children are not eligible
· Complete the application in its entirety
All scholarships are funded by Schwarzkopf Pro and administered by Professional Beauty Association Charities. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by PBA Charities. All scholarship awards are final.

MILADY RISE SCHOLARSHIP
Application deadline is May 15, 2026
Winning applicants will be notified by July 1, 2026
Five (5) – $500 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled in school (5) and active licensed professionals (5). Winners will be chosen and notified by email. Scholarship funds awarded must be used within six months of being awarded.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must be:
- Milady RISE Certified in Client Well-Being & Safety (students at Milady RISE Partner schools get free access)
- Currently enrolled in school (and in good standing) OR a licensed professional currently working as a beauty/wellness professional in Cosmetology, Nail Tech, Barbering, Esthetics, or Massage.
- Must complete the application in its entirety.
All scholarships are funded by Milady and administered by the Professional Beauty Association Foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair. All scholarship awards are final.
MY SALON SUITE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
$77,500 in scholarship will be awarded.
Ten (10) – $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to students intending to attend school resulting in a license in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, nail technology or massage therapy.
Two hundred and fifty (250) – $250 scholarships will be awarded to currently MY SALON Suite members for industry-related continuing education.
Sixty-two (62) – $250 scholarships will be awarded during the first three periods.
Sixty-four (64) – $250 scholarships will be awarded during the last period.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must be:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be attending school in the U.S.
- Must be enrolled in a program leading to a professional license (where applicable) in:
- Cosmetology
- Nail technology
- Barbering
- Esthetics
- Massage therapy
Deadlines will be March 15, 2026, June 15, 2026, September 15, 2026, and December 15, 2026. Any unused MY SALON Suite Scholarship funds will carry forward to the next scholarship period. Scholarship funds are managed by PBA/PBA Charities.
